Poor packaging can damage the aluminum foil, a situation unacceptable to both parties to the contract. This is particularly critical for ocean freight, where cargo undergoes container loading, hoisting, inland transport, and extended sea voyages. Containers are subject to continuous jolting, swaying, and impacts while at sea. Without reliable protection and securing, aluminum foil rolls could roll, shift, collide, or crush against one another, thereby increasing the risk of product damage.

01. Foam wrapping to protect the aluminum foil surface
Aluminum foil surfaces are susceptible to scratches, impacts, and friction; therefore, we wrap the rolls in foam paper or cushioning material prior to boxing.
This soft cushioning layer minimizes direct contact between the foil roll and the outer packaging, absorbs impact forces during handling and transport, and effectively reduces the risk of surface scratches, dents, and edge damage.
For rolls of varying specifications and weights, the thickness of the cushioning and the number of protective layers can be adjusted to meet specific transport requirements.

02. Plastic film sealing to prevent moisture damage
Ocean transport often involves significant fluctuations in temperature and humidity, as well as the risk of condensation inside the container. Prolonged exposure to a humid environment can cause the aluminum foil to suffer from moisture damage, oxidation, and internal condensation.
To address this, after applying the cushioning layer, we seal the entire roll with plastic film to minimize the ingress of air, water vapor, and external moisture. For products requiring superior moisture protection, we can implement enhanced measures—such as adding desiccants or reinforcing sealing layers—based on customer specifications, thereby further improving the moisture resistance of the aluminum foil rolls during long-distance ocean transport.

03. Fumigated wooden crate packaging for robust external protection
For export orders shipped by sea, we offer wooden crate packaging tailored to product specifications and customer requirements. Wooden crates provide excellent mechanical strength, offering reliable external protection for the aluminum foil rolls and minimizing the risk of damage from collisions, crushing, or impacts during transit.
Export wooden packaging complies with relevant international transport regulations; we use timber that has undergone the required fumigation or heat treatment and apply packaging treatments specific to the destination country and customer needs.
The interior of the crate is organized according to the size and weight of the aluminum foil rolls and reinforced with wooden cradles, wedges, bracing materials, or other securing structures to prevent the rolls from rolling or shifting during transport.

External packaging alone is insufficient to ensure cargo safety; internal securing is equally critical for containerized transport.
