The 1070 aluminum disc is a high-purity aluminum product manufactured from 1070 aluminum sheet through processes such as stamping, spinning, and deep drawing. Belonging to the 1xxx series of pure aluminum alloys, it contains a minimum of 99.7% aluminum. Compared to 1050 and 1060 aluminum discs, the 1070 variant offers higher purity and superior electrical conductivity. Thanks to its exceptional purity, ductility, corrosion resistance, electrical and thermal conductivity, and formability, the 1070 aluminum disc is widely used in applications demanding the highest standards of purity, conductivity, and surface quality.

  • Excellent Deep-Drawing Properties

The grain size of 1060 aluminum discs is strictly controlled. During subsequent spinning or deep-drawing processes, issues such as “earring” (low earring rate) or fracturing are unlikely to occur, making them ideal for manufacturing deep-drawn vessels.

  • Excellent Corrosion Resistance and Thermal Conductivity

Pure aluminum offers outstanding thermal conductivity. Additionally, a dense protective oxide film readily forms on its surface when exposed to the atmosphere, providing strong rust resistance.

  • High Weldability and Plasticity

The material is easily welded using gas welding, atomic hydrogen welding, and contact welding methods, and it readily withstands various pressure-forming processes.
