Description
Features
- Aluminum–manganese alloy (Al–Mn)
Belongs to the 3xxx-series aluminum alloys, with manganese as the main alloying element and a small amount of magnesium for improved strength.
- Higher mechanical strength than 3003 and 3004
Provides better strength while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for structural and load-bearing applications.
- Excellent corrosion resistance
Resistant to atmospheric, marine, and industrial corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor and coastal environments.
- Good formability and workability
Soft and ductile, easy to roll, bend, stamp, and deep-draw, suitable for thin-gauge processing and complex shapes.
- Good thermal and electrical conductivity
Supports heat dissipation and moderate electrical applications.
- Smooth and uniform surface finish
Ideal for anodizing, painting, coating, embossing, or film lamination.
- Good weldability
Compatible with TIG, MIG, and spot welding for reliable joints.
- Lightweight material
Low density supports weight reduction in structural, decorative, and functional applications.
